What is Orthodoxy, Do we Know Anymore?

From Generation s radio, Swanson & Buehner had an episode where they discuss how easy it is to manipulate Christians who don’t have a biblical worldview. When we are not even aware of the foundations of the faith as developed by the church forefathers. They read a letter telling Obama, this is what you do to get 50% of the evangelical vote.

The second half of the show deals with a new book that is sweeping through the evangelical ranks called “ the shack”. Pastors and church’s are raving over the book even as it negates basic biblical teaching. People will think it is relevant. But that’s only because it lines up modern thinking having jettisoned any biblical moorings. This is becoming the trademark of “being relevant”, reflecting modern man and hiding Gods word. I think we call it bait and switch in marketing terms, I don’t know what they call it in seminary.
